Today's Action Photo is a probably late-seventies era shot of the entrance to one of the sets of locks in the Panama Canal. The arrow tells ship pilots which side of the locks to bring his ship in on. The silver vehicle is a "mule" used to keep ships aligned in the locks by pulling on cables attached to each side of the ship that the guys in the rowboat will catch.
