Today's Action Photo is a picture of the Treue der Union monument in Comfort, Texas. It commemorates the loyalty and beliefs of a group of German settlers who refused to join the Confederacy during the Civil War and were murdered by Rebel troops in retaliation. Photo taken with a Canon Elan IIe camera on a Manfrotto Wilderness Tripod, 70-200mm f/2.8L lens, Fuji Superia Reala 100 film. Exposure settings were 1/45 at f/8 with +1/2 stop of exposure compensation.
