The BAT Cave

Huh? What?

Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 lens for Nikon

I pre-ordered a Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 lens for Nikon from B&H Photo on June 14, 2013. It arrived by UPS on October 9, 2013 after a few delays that were never really explained, but it's here now! The interesting thing about this lens is that it is the only f/1.8 zoom lens that I can think of ever being manufactured by anyone. It combines the utility of several fast primes all in one (not so) compact package for the DX 1.5 crop family of Nikon cameras. I did some very quick testing straight out of the box with no tuning or anything, using my Nikon D7100.

Test conducted October 9, 2013.
